ok im looking for some help with my radio problems when i bought this truck it didnt have a radio in it and i bought one and tried to wire it but no power but by accident i touched the red wire to the metal and it sparked so i kno its getting power dont know what to do

Can u post a pic of ur wires? Like of what u have done to it right now. Also whoever had the truck before u could have jerry rigged the heck outta it. U never know what they could have messed up. But just post a pic

search crutchfield for 87 ranger wiring diagram. I used one not too long ago for my truck to find my way around wiring up a radio.
