86 ranger2.9 no power

I have 86 ranger with 2.9 fuel injected automatic 4x4 it has no power going up hills or taking off it shimmies and bogs down . I've changed the plugs ,wires ,cap and rotor, it has new seliniod and pick up in the tank . I put new gaskets on the intake and above . I've cleaned the injectors and rail . Now when I put it in gear the tranny makes a strange noise it's not grinding but I'm not sure what it is . I'm getting ready to pull the tranny to see what it might be might even throw a five speed in instead
