hello guys, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas what would cause the fuel pump to run constantly with the key on and engine off other than a fuel leak. thanks eric

I'm not really sure why a fuel leak would make it constantly run but my guess is a stuck relay.

The relays are over on the passenger side under the hood. Unless it was replaced with an aftermarket, it should be green.

The easiest way to see if it's working is to turn the key on, engine off and check for voltage. The same voltage going in should be coming out of the relay. Even if it clicks and seems to be working, this will tell you if it's really doing it's job or not.

For you, I would just probe the wires with the key off. If both sides are hot then you know it's the relay sticking.
