ok so im going to put an 8.8 in my 02 2wd ranger. im also dropping my ranger with the 4/5 djm kit. my thinking is if i put the 8.8 out of an explorer with the spring perches opposite that of the ranger i should get the same drop in the rear as if i was using the djm flip kit. im pretty sure this will work but just wanna make sure. also with swapping out the 7.5 for the 8.8 and dropping it 4/5 can i use my stock drive shaft? thanks

You should get at least 4" of drop depending on the thickness of your leaf spring(exploder axle is 3.25" thick plus another 1/2" for the axle seat plus leaf thickness). Not sure about driveshaft lengths
