5.0l EFI from F-150 1993 into 1994 ranger 4x4 transfer case help!!

hi, in new on this forum my english is not very good, but i'm trying to get a litle help!

i have a 1994 4.0l 4x4 manual trans and i plan to put a 5.0l EFI 2x4 manual trans from a 1993 f-150. my plan is to keep my 4x4 with the f-150 2x4 trans. i know that's advance adaptor made an adapter to fit my borg wargner 1350 transfer case on ford full size 4wd manual trans, but i'm not sure this will fit my f-150 2wd trans.

the part number of the kits is : P/N 50-4501.

i can't keep my stock 4.0l manual trans because the bell housing is one piece with the trans. so i am looking to keep the f-150 2wd trans with and adaptor to put my tranfer case on.

i allready have the complete swap from the f-150 so i'm trying to do the job without bying another trans.

or if anybody knows a easier way to put my 5.0l EFI with a manual 5 speed trans and 4x4, it will be grandly apreciated!

4x4 extension housing and tailshaft

if you have the long splines on your2wd trans just get the 28 spline adapter and grap a 4x4 housing out of the junkyard.

Actually, take your 4.0 output shaft and install it in the f150 trans. Iirc, the 4x4 housing from the 4.0 case should bolt onto the 5.0 case, converting your 2wd f150 trans to 4wd with rbv output shaft and bolt pattern...

i seen that done before. but i have not been able to replicate it, the output shaft was smaller at both ends but almost the same length, did you leave the gears on and shim the bearing?...i thought about doing that.

the 4.0 ext housing dont work but the 5.0 one will, i have seen the modified units before though, they are out there. its a modified 5.0 unit that goes on a 4.0 to allow the big circle case pattern.
