I think I found some headers that work on the ranger 302 swap!!! Is the dent on the header tubes enough to hinder performance

Engine masters did some testing years ago about dented headers and the affect on performance.

Long story short.. until the tube is essentially smashed to 1/4 its original size.. you won't notice any difference.

I saw that same article. I was surprised at the outcome but have kept it in mind ever since.

What kind of headers are those? I ended up going with 60's bronco cast manifolds, they fit pretty well.

cliffhanger not telling us what headers those are lol. I imagine the issues really lie on the drivers side, sneaking around the steering shaft.

@Fletch! Are you keeping it a secret?

Side perk, you could probably adapt a Bronco Y-Pipe as well.

OP's headers look a lot like my Hedman 88400, at least on the passenger side. The flange looks thicker than mine though.

I finally got my Torque Monsters so I'll end up running them. Mostly curious for future projects.

i would like to see these ones tried.

the ones originally posted looked like the typical comet/maverick type headers.

the forward hoop generally used with those is not tib usable on the drivers side...but the more modern full swept design with tight tubes on the forward two cylinders like the 351 cobra r definitely work better.

those look like
