2wd ranger gets sas

That is a sick truck. All the motivation i need to lift my two wheel drive. I have a Gen 4 though. Im gonna be running a 3 inch suspension lift 3 inch bl with 33's on 15's.

Looks great.

I noticed on the last picture of you going down the highway the driverside of the cab leans quite abit but the bed doesnt.

that was on the way home from beating the heck out of it offroad and the rear driverside cab mount collapsed. i replaced it shortly after.

Ahhhh ok. Are trying for TOTM on here?

i might of missed somethin but howd you lift the back

made solid steal 3.5" lift blocks, leafs are ranger main leafs with the rest of the pack being cut to size heavy duty f150 springs. also used a 2" chevy lowering shackle for lift.

Nice rig. Looks like it works pretty well. Not too stiff in the springs is it? Man, I really need to get other projects wrapped up so I can dig into my Ranger...

how do you try for truck of the month?

You don't... that comment confused me too :icon_confused:

Someone has to like your build and post it in the nominations thread. You don't nominate yourself, and don't ask or beg to be nominated.

But I'm sure a few people (including myself) are liking your build so it may happen soon enough :icon_thumby:

thats a pretty sick truck and im gunna nominate you fpr TOTM because its exactly wht i want to do to my 2wd

I really like that truck. wanna do a sas with mine but 00 look weird tall and with leafs. but that thing is awesome

i just looked at it while i was cleaning it yesterday and the rusty rear cab mount collapsed a little bit so thats why the drivers side of the cab is sitting lower than the bed, looks like im gonna have to make a new cab mount soon

erm..it could also be from the bit of torque twist that every truck gets..

How stiff is the rear springs with the f150 leafs?

not as stiff i was dreading, i got a few flex pis on my redneck rti in the the link i posted in here to greatlakes4x4
