2wd ranger gets sas

:icon_cheers:
thats what i say. people try and talk me down and tell me its too weak. the way i look at it is, its way better than what i had "nothing" because it was a 2wheel! lol

They don't necessarily talk you out of it because it's weak. They might be trying to save you money later down the road.Since your doing an sas you might start wheeling it and want more tire later and start breaking things. Then it's stepping up to bigger axles.I've been in the same position numerous times.

finally got my new shoes on

What size tires and rims you have on there?

Hows your 2.3 with the 35's and 4.56 gears? Does it have enough power to keep it at 60mph?

looks damn good, the d-30's are pretty tough...i wheeled the shit out of my 98 cherokee on 33' swampers and never tore a thing up

keep up the good work and the updates

drove it to work today, rides great and in the down time i fixed the gas gauge that never worked and got the heat working, im riding in luxury now! haha im gonna drive in to work for a few days then give it a good inspection before i try her on the freeway. feels a little slugish with 4cyl and 35s, but i expected that, maybe itll get a 4liter soon. if she does decent on the freeway maybe ill stick with the 2.3. not sure yet, kinda want to do body and paint next but also wanna get to work on my 67gmc. ill just have to see where the road takes me. lol

dang you got some decent pics of my truck, sorry we didnt really get anything decent of the jeep

thats one good looking truck!

your bed, like mine, looks slighty higher on the drivers side

i just looked at it while i was cleaning it yesterday and the rusty rear cab mount collapsed a little bit so thats why the drivers side of the cab is sitting lower than the bed, looks like im gonna have to make a new cab mount soon

Looks great.

I noticed on the last picture of you going down the highway the driverside of the cab leans quite abit but the bed doesnt.

i might of missed somethin but howd you lift the back
