Hey guys not trying to step on any toes or say 2wd is better, because I wish I had a 4wd but I dont and i'm kinda attached to my girl. These vids are without lockers, open diff. I have a 2" lift in the front, stock in the rear. bfgoodrich all terrain 31 10.50 x r15. I got the rims off a guy that had replaced the rims on his explorer for like 60 bucks.
the trail cam vid is in beasley knob

no one said you couldnt have any fun in a 2wd, just remember to keep that one tire on something solid cause if it looses traction then you are going no where.

Oh yea, and you might want to invest in some good solid tow strap attachment points

That's my next plan in building a rear bumper and front scrape pan. Just debating on weather or not to do Detriot lockers first.

haha you said lockerS... and its 2wd! :icon_rofl::thefinger: jk. you can have fun w/ it... just have good tow points and a winch preferably

oh and if you like your truck... but wish you had 4wd.. you could always throw a solid axle under it.. or a d35 ttb (yours is a 97 right? with tib?)

2wd offroad is way more fun! it take finess to make it up and over things, rather then just throttle and aiming. (shh on the flaming for that one)

Build her up however ya like, and enjoy it. as long as its fun your doin it right!

ya know.... us 4 wheel drive folks can always just use 2wd till we do get stuck and then kick it down to 4wd as needed. :thefinger::icon_rofl:

Tow points first, a locker will just get you stuck worse and stress what little you have for tow points all the more.

Just so you know the trail cam truly sucks ass not trying to be rude but it really does dont use it again :D

It ain't that bad, being on the other side of the windshield would help though so it didn't catch the glare.

My favorite point to date is either on the light tab of my rollbar or the antenea base on the PS fender (yes the regular radio antenea) Never got a chance to try the suction cup mount on the windshield before she went into dry dock :annoyed:

I do have a lot of fun messing around my camera on my trucks though. :icon_thumby:

Yeah I hear ya. I didn't have anyone to stand outside the truck and take vids so I just slipped it in the visor. I'll try for a better setup next time. Thanks.
