2WD 3 inch Suspension lift for CHEAP

Very nice!! Have any pictures on how the lights are mounted? I like your setup better then mine haha.

that pic of your truck with 32"s makes me
i want 32"s now LOL

btw u got longer shocks when u tried the front spacers? i had to mod my shocks so i could drive comfortably because they kept hitting the uptravel limit on every bump. i extended the nut stud by 2" so i could compensate the spacers
and took the sway bar out. it rides softer now. and still feels safe to drive a bit fast.

u should take it into consideration, at least while u get the big lift.

I'm with RSH on that, the truck looks killer as is, but I can't wait to see the end result.

i never ended up doing the spacers. im sitting on stock 2wd front suspension.

the kit im getting replaces the shocks, spring with a 2.5 lift spring, a 3 inch race spindle and limit straps. oh and an upper control arm so it can be aligned.

So, back on track, I'm ordering doetsch spindles and a shackle. They will hopefully be ordered soon.

I'll do a full swap with pictures. Until then, think 3 inches up front, 4 in the back. :)

Keep us updated, I'm pretty excited. I was gonna order that same kit, but...plans changed:annoyed:

I also would like to know everything you think about those shackles. Are they easy to install? Did you notice a loss in turning radius? Etc etc. I think I wanna put them on my 2001 Edge. Thanks for the inspiration too! :icon_thumby:

wow.

12 pages between the 2 threads and i read them.

did you really pay 60 bux for u bolts:icon_surprised:

at first it came across it was per side...which about made me fall out of my chair, few pages in it was counted as 60...which i hope was complete.

:shok:

Alright the parts have been ordered, I got 3 inch lift spindle and 2 inch shackles. They will be shipped out Tuesday I believe.

I will keep everyone as ip to date as possible. Will be atleast a week before install.

As for the U bolts. I bought new ford OEM so the wernt cheap. But the 2 inches out back only cost me 80 without shocks. And hopefully my shocks will be long enough for another 2 inches. Having to buy ANOTHER set of shock would SUCKKK

Oh yes, Cost of lift with shipping is 470 Canadian.
