2WD 3 inch Suspension lift for CHEAP

Can't wait too see how it looks tomorrow! Whats on the list after this?

Probably going to see if i can get the fenders on the truck. the body shop is backlogged so i have no idea how long it will take to get them painted. Id also love to take a day, and wire wheel the frame and paint it.

I do need to get a dust light, and build a mount for it. maybe ill make a bed cage to hold my 32" spare, and mount a dust light as well. I also need to figure out my CB antenna situation. not sure if i should run it on the tailgate like i have meen, or put it on my bed cage.

I will me making everything so a tonneau can still go on, hopefuly.

I think this will be the majority of my mods till spring. i may do a couple little things, but nothing major like suspension. maybe i can actually save enough and put something really nice together.

You had better be installing those spindles today. Seeing the results is probably going to be the highlight of my day, unless the Browns win haha.

alright. total cost of $550 shipped.

Had a rubbing issue. you gotta bend the bracket toward the fender. also, to get the shackle bolts we had to disconect the shocks, as the hitch was in the way.

Looks good man! Solid job. :icon_thumby:

Did you have any troubles with your tailpipe getting in the way of your new shackles? Some people have to cut their's because the shackle is too long.

The tail pipe was touching, I bent the hanger to allow the room for the longer shackle.
The exhaust doesn't touch now.

We had a good time doing the install. Wasn't overly hard. Just time consuming.

Sweet. And what did you grind the spindle and control arm for?

clearance for turning. would move 15 degrees without the mod. i basicaly made my own steering stops, as the stock ones are no longer used. the fitment is pretty good, just needs some modifications.

Man that looks pretty good!

thanks!:icon_thumby:

Looks great man! Really makes me want to lift my truck right now haha.

how much clearance did you gain? doesnt look like much then again pictures never do justice as in person does haha nice looking truck man love the color too

a full 3 inches over factory. the rear clearance didnt change as its based on tire size. im gonna guess in the neighbourhood of 20-24 inches in the front.. ill measure though.

That's pretty awesome man im gonna put a 4 inch kit on my truck once i get the money to have it put on
