Almost seems like if there was a uniball joint here I'd be totally fine. "Bearing" currently in there is fixed.

Alright, I'm dumb as hell.

They were uniball eyelets. Just stuck.

Next question is if I ordered the correct length...

It's tight, but on the test with the jack, it looks like everything has room.

Painted it and calling it a day.

Trying to document success and failure both.

This mod is a PITA and no instructions are correct. I wound up mixing kits, custom building coilovers, etc to make it work. Will run a thread when I'm done with part numbers to hopefully help the next guy

Nice! I bet it works better than the torsion bars, I haven't been too upset in how they work in my Explorer but get it....I'm going a COMPLETE different direction other than likely using coil overs... maybe, at least fancy shocks and coils...

I hope so... I really despise torsion bars. No matter what you do, they always ride like crap. Hopefully this fixes the issue. I'll sell off my V8 bars if this works. Holding out to make sure for now...

I just got introduced to that skit a few months ago, didn't have cable much at that point in my life and spent more time watching junkyard wars and such than adult swim... have a friend that thinks the "oldgregg" thing is hilarious and knows the whole thing...

Have a big stack of spacers on the tailgate, not sure which way to offset it. More centered on top and bottom seems logical to me, but I'm probably wrong.

And yeah, cleaned it out and got it freed up after talking to Chris at Kartek. I'm just really, really dumb.
