2011 Ranger 4.0l Manual - no start

Featured Build Threads

I was going to say that the connectors inside were loose. I've seen that on frame rail fuel pumps. In fact i think every truck I've owned that had a frame rail pump with loose connectors. Pretty easy fix. I feel that over time and vehicle vibrations they all get loose to a degree. Some worse than others. I have a 93 that the main under dash connector fried. Loose connectors = heat.

corrosion is not always patently visible. and loose can be worse. heat damage in the turn signal/multi function switch, ignition switch and headlight switch is a constant....along with mr inertia switch.

intertia switch failure is definitely a when.

The original connector/switch on my truck were melted together. I just snipped the wires as I was pulling the harness for the 4.0 anyway.
