2002 4.0 SOHC to replace 1999 4.0 in ranger

I have a chance to replace my 1999 4.0 in my ranger with a low milage 2002 sohc engine and tranny complete with wire harness on the engine. Can anyone tell me what problems I may run into in hooking up the electronics or do they make adaptors for the harness plugs etc? Thanks in advance, Noruman

More power. The timing chains were the only issue with the early 4.0 SOHC engines. Otherwise, no contest.
