Hey there, I have a 2002 Ranger Edge that Im having a issue with. It smokes after it warms up. I had put a used 4.0L in the truck and it smoked and now I just put in a new 4.0L I just built and the same thing, it smokes. The only thing I can think of is that I used the same upper intake that was on the old motor. The intake I used was from a motor that didnt have an EGR system so I just bolted the components on it. The only physical difference I could see was that the main vacuum port was on the bottom instead of the top. Does anyone know if there are differences internally between the two intakes? This is really frustrating me so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have lots of money into this truck now and cant drive it yet. Thanks a lot.
P.S.- The smoke that comes out is kind of white/gray and smells like burnt oil and smokes more as it warms up. Weird!
