2000 ford ranger transmission interchange

hello, i just bought a 2000 ford range xlt 4x4 with a 3.0l automatic, the reverse is out and i was wondering what years and models of vehicles would interchange with the tranny. i know a lot of mazda truck parts will interchange but will a tranny or are the electronics different, what year of ranger will work. if anyone else has had a problem with reverse and had it fixed instead of replacing the tranny, how much did it cost you. just curious.

Did anyone have an answer to this of how to find the year range of interchangeable automatic transmissions with 3.0 engine for the year 2000 Ford Ranger?

I answered my own question. The tech notes say 1995-2000.
