2000 3.0 swap to 4.0 ???

I have a 2000 3.0 Ranger XLT 4X4 and I am going to swap in a 2000 Ranger XLT 4.0. I have everything from the 4.0 to swap in, XMSN, computer, wire harness, etc. Does anyone know any problems that I will run into or have any tips???? Thanks in advance for your help.

Why are you switching? That's a lot of work for very little gain imo.

im switching because i have the 4.0 already. im just trying to get my truck back on the road. i paid $800 for a 4.0 roll over. so its not costing me very much. i will be buying a new car next year. this is just to get me around till then.
