I have been looking for a couple days now and cant find a definite answer to my question. I have a 2000 Ranger XLT 2.5 and am swapping engines for a 99 Explorer 4.0 Engine. My question is what mounts do I need to use. . Will I need to use the 4.0 Explorer mounts?? If so how would that work because in the explorer where the motor mounts go in to the frame appear to be aligned but the mounting position in the ranger is offset. Has anyone dealt with this before?? I know the answer is probably somewhere on the forum but I cant seem to find it.
