Got weather strip holders welded on. Tomorrow I will be fiberglassing to make it look a little better then spray on rubber liner to protect it.

Finally finished the floor boards. Plus got a free T-handle shifter knob so I decided to put it on. The seats will have to be put in tomorrow due to the spray drying.

Then I ran into a problem that I could have never seen. The liner stuff I put on my floor doesn't want to stick. You easily rub it off. So now I have to strip it off and put the expensive crap on it, at least where my feet will be. I have pics. later it raining outside.

did you sand anything? i'd try sanding and mabe some primer or something first. i dunno i've never done it tho

I did that and it still didn't work. I'll worry about it later have othe things to do like sell my D35 to fund my SAS and get 3.73 gears for my D30 to match my rear end gaers. I see no reason to put a D35 in my truck when I can get an 8.8 down the road and they are stronger plus are a basiclly a bolt in rear end. Think I'll sell it for $350 even though it has a locker in the rear.

Well the seats are finally bolted down and I'm not leaning to the left anymore!!!!!

Now I need to sell my Dana 35 with 4.56 gears and detroit locker, might get on some jeep forums to see if they want it for cheap, just need to get enough out of it to do my SAS. The cost of the locker alone is worth more then I'm going to be selling it for.

More to come soon.

Well Saturday evening went out to start my truck.....just cranked over. Thought the computer was shot due to water getting in the cab. Well Sunday evening finally got a chance to look at it and let it dry out so went to try to start it, still nothing. Unplugged the computer from the truck tested if everything was getting power and that was good so hooked the computer back up and it started right up.

easy fix. haha

Easy fix but it was on of those moments that just makes your heart sink, so much work wasted, but its all good now.

i know how you feel. but mine never got fixed. its gay. so i think i've figured it out. if i can get a loan on a newer powerstroke, im goin for it, if not, im driving the exploder while i build a sick 302 (boss 302 replica=clevland heads) for my truck, and when the motors done ill put it in next spring. the heated garage has room for a motor but not a whole truck so

I like the idea of a powerstroke. This is how i am. I have to have a beeter truck (2wd or 4wd), weekend truck (a nice 4x4) and work truck (another general perpose truck 4x4). Saddly my truck is all three.

As for the engine which truck is it going in? I assume old blue there. Got any pictures of the engine or do you not have it yet? I remeber seeing a Cobra Jet engine just laying around.

If I were you just drive the sploder, much cheaper or you can make your truck a diesel, I'd do that if mine was 2wd.

i wish that cobra jet was an option. but no, i haven't bought a block yet. im doin full teardown and rebuild, with 450 horse in mind. my dad wants me to make it a boss 302 wanna be, with cleveland heads... i cant remember the other necessary components.
BUT im lookin for a rear sump pan right now. jeez, this waitin for my 18th is becoming a huge pain.

Im waiting for my 21st b-day which is coming up in November. I'll see if I can find a rear sump pan on the net, just to help out. I want to see some building going on with the truck.
