Fits perfectly as long as the seats are all the way back.

Painted it and put a Ford emblem on it that I got from an exploder grill, cut off the barbs in the back and glued it on.

Many not look the best but does what I need and fits my truck. The passenger can hold there own drink plus I dont need them to knock the truck out of gear when getting their drink too.

Total cost, nothing. Everything was left over from other projects or just laying around.

More to come soon.

My dad said he wouldnt show it off. I just need more practice. Not everybody is good on there first trys. Baby steps for me. Only 20 bucks for ression, cloth and 2 paint brushes if i do buy more. Might have to put speakers in my door but will need a new radio for that, need a new one actually, cd player with an mp3 player slot and a sub.

if you put 2 6x9s in the back behind the seats in each corner, you wont miss the sub garuntee it...

You mean like these, the ones already in my truck that I got for free? They are nice but need a newer radio because the factory Ford one cant push these very well. I've had them in my truck for 2 years now. And yes those are homemade speaker boxes, did those in a hurry but I'll make better ones later.

I have a guy thats wanting the detroit locker out of my Dana 35 but I want the whole thing gone. I've dropped the price down below what I wanted so that I can get rid of it but still be able to fund my SAS.

fair enough. every homemade box is made in a hurry. lol. mine was rushed but its sweet. cause i used a $25,000 saw with a computer controlled guide, so it was damn accurate and i made it in an hour. including measuring my truck and designing the box, making a cut list and makin it so it fit under the cover in the back, and contour around that hump in the back.
also i would suggest you upgrade to some alpine or pioneer 6x9s and a small amp. add that to your new head unit you should have some decent sound

I like sony produces better. My dad said to solve the problem put an amplifier in but he said it would be easier to just get a new radio.

or do both. no head unit is gonna give you the rated output to get those 6x9's to their potential. on a typical 200watt head unit, you get 50wx4. you could put another 100 watts to those suckers and really hear em. as long as you have good front speakers to keep up the high.

Well yesturday had to put brake lines on the Astro van and found a huge hole in the frame so to today started fixing unit the ran kicked in. One thing thats hard to do is weld up meaning on my back and welding above my head. Other then tht i can weld pretty good, learning to weld to frames to so the hole in the frame is a lucky thing for me to find and practice on before I do my SAS.

ya. you know not to weld all the way up a frame and stuff. like to do c's or weld 2/3 from both sides?

There is basiclly no frame left, I'm having to make a new section. Its that bad in just this one spot, its also where the shock mounts to. Poeple on craigs list keep think i'm selling my truck when I clearly stated I'm selling the engine thats already out of it. I should put some pictures of it on therre so eliminate the comfusion.

good idea.
im slowly tryin ta figure out whats wrong with my blue truck, at the same time working full time, having a personal life and saving for a trip to hawaii in 4 months. SOO its been tough goin to get time to worry about projects

Why hawaii?? As for personal my personal life I really dont have one. I go hunt thats about it.
I think the fuel is running out of the fuel lines and back into the tank or the pump is having a hard time pumping it at first, it might be trying to tell you something.

My craigs list for my engine will be expiring soon so ill post pictures of it when I re-post it. Need to find somebody that wants a Jeep Dana 35 cheap with a locker in it. I signed up on a Jeep forum in hopes it would sell and craigs list. No luck so far.

ya i dunno. i should check my fuel pressure. today it left me stranded. BUT i picked up a new harness for the nuetral safety switch. and i need to change the tfi, again.
i too have a d30+d35 but they are 3 hours away. so i dont know if its worth it to go get em or just buy more...
also, hawaii cause the tickets are free (air miles) and im goin with family and a friend, and i need a vacation, and this weekend im goin either to saskatoon(2.5 hours away) or pincher creek (for smash em up derby at a friends acrage)(8 hours away) and i just spent 300bux on hockey stuff and i now have to replace my brothers camera i dropped while photographing the nuetral safety switch wiring. SO
ill post pics tomorrow.

Yes get the D30 and D35, they are worth getting. Put the D30 under a truck, BB, and sell the D35, like me only I'm going to be parting mine out so that I can sell it faster and might get just as much out of it parting it out as if I was selling it as a whole assembly. If I get 250 out of parting it out then I will have a SAS done to my truck, had a guy offer 225 for the locker but that was before I decide to part it out.

All I need now to put it under my truck is

Steering linkage
I think a 2 inch drop pitman arm, dunno yet
3.73 gears to match the rear ones, has 4.56
Seals, going to change them while I'm changing the gears
Lug bolt, last owner had to torch it off to get the tire off.
Quarter inch steel to fab up holders for the 4 link.

Had another person pm with a question about the TBI swap for the 2.8 that they are doing, looks like its becoming more popular, the 2.8 is coming back.

More to come soon.
