Ya if I bought a truck it would be coming home that day or very soon after that no matter what even if I had to tow it even it if did run and drive.

i did. but due to the number of vehicles, and the fact that i live in the city where theres limited parking, i couldn't keep it. i HAD to take it to my grandmas farm, where my uncle "assesed" the body damage and my cousin did an inspection for me. its not official but i know what i have to fix. i may start a build thread on my 2wd since it needs WAY less work to be a dependable vehicle and the 4x4 is gonna take a while. however my blue truck gets worked on every day. SO hpoefully ill actually get some stuff done more often. like next month i think im gonna start buyin parts to change the heads/head gaskets, as i believe its leaking a small bit of coolant into the cylinders. (every once in a while it puffs some white smoke on startup) and EVERY time, it takes like 50 cranks to start. but it always starts... hmm?

Lower your blue truck and raise BB up. Then you would have the best of both worlds.

It shouldn't take 50 cranks to start it. After all it does have the reliable 2.9 liter in it. That sounds like a fuel problem.

or a leaky head/head gaskets
ps i got another ranger. so, in the 1 year i've been driving, i've now owned 4 rangers, and one explorer. im like a ford addict

Another ranger???? WOW. I've only had my licence for a year. I want a 2wd ranger that I can slam to the ground AKA make it a frame dragger. But one ranger at a time for me.

Get a picture of it. I want to see all your rangers better yet.

at the same time im contemplating getting a new truck. chee whizzz however my blue truck is seein some serious progress under the radar. BUILD THREAD WOO

More progress on the interior. Like I said before it may be ugly but it works. I'll be covering it up with fiberglass and putting bedliner on the floor.

Passenger side so far...I did this side

yikes! cancer! im fortunate enough to not have too much of that body wise. just wheel wells, etc

We should havw fixed it sooner but we just never had the time. Thats why it got so bad plus there was alot of fiberglass that my dad put on it that covered up the bad parts that kept getting worse.

It isn't costing a thing yet. I'll show you later where I got the sheet metal from. I'll try to get more done on the inside, what I did yesturday want enough to post.

Well got the welding done on the interior. Next it to fiberglass some of it up and spray bed liner in it.

Well got two Rustys coil springs for free and found a sway bar, dont know if I'm going to be using it but it was within my reach so I took it too. The springs messer 21 inches tall and the sway bar is 36 inches eye to eye. The springs came off a Jeep an I think the sway bar came off of it too. Dont know what the 808 means but I'll try to find that out.

As of this point I'm not sure if I'm going to do coils or leaves but I can go either way now.

More to come soon.

coils dude, coils. and 4 link. lol. might as well since your not drivin it.

Your right I'm doing the coils. Everything is there for it plus I still have to make mounting point for the link arms, would have had to make places for the leaves to so I'm not out any time there. I'm still wondering how much lift the 21 inch coils are going to give me. Might have to cut them a but if its to much. One guy is doing the exact same thing and he said everything lines up almost perfectly when using coils. Can't arrgue with that.

Just got the check for the bellhousing today so now I'm going to finish the interior ASAP.
