1999 manual ranger 3.0 to 302 auto swap

Hello my name is Jayson im in the process of 302 swapping my ranger the only issue I am running into is it is a manual truck right now and I want to put the auto trans with the 302 in the ranger
The donor vehicle is a 1998 mountaineer
What all am I going to have to do to make the auto work in my manual truck?
I've pretty much understand all the rest im just having trouble finding info on the manual to auto swap! Thank you all for the answers...

When you swap in the V8, you will need all the engine and transmission wiring including the V8 pcm. There are threads on the forum that will help you with connecting that wiring to your truck wiring. The V8 pcm will control the transmission.
