So....
Going to look at some tires Saturday. He told me they won't fit in my truck with a cap.

So went on a little trip with plumcrazy and 5 of these jumped in my truck.

Looks like you settled for a smaller set...They fit fine in the bed, even if you did have a cap...

I agree. I had nothing to worry about. Taking it off just made it easier to load them.

My son approves.

More pics. They are bias ply 42x15x17 Pitbull Rockers.
All have some rock rash. No big deal.
All have good tread. 2 are dang near new.
One has a little cut in the side wall. Well, on a 33 it would be a big cut... But he assured me it would hold air. I might take it somewhere to be fixed.
One has some patches which was his spare.
For $1300, I think I did ok. I have always wanted this tire. He ended up getting a used set of sticky 40" treps. Doesn't sound like he will ever run anything else.

The TJ they were on

They actually tuck a lot better than I expected.

Picked up the 10.5 from my sister in laws

Now that your have all the important parts lets get this thing put together. :icon_welder:

I was going to take my '14 Taurus to pick it up. Glad I didn't. It would have fit, but would have required 4 guys to get it in there nicely and probably 6 guys to get it out.

Now I am on the hunt for some OEM 05+ 17" steels

DD duty has expired. Insurance has been changed to fire and theft only.
