1999 3.0L Vulcan Injector types?

V VIN code in 99 is Flex Fuel according to whatever system O'Reilly's uses to determine such things. I'd hope they at least got that right...

It's right, V is the 8th digit on my '00 Ranger with flex fuel

Hello again,
And as always - I appreciate the advice from you all.

I did buy the POS a set of Flex injectors from fleabay. What I bought shown below. I learned a lot of years ago that I should trust my compas in the fog... I am thinking I should have gone by the VIN code to begin with... I just knew it was a gas truck - needed gas injectors - Nope....

So the results. Been 4-5 days of driving with these. So far no more lean codes and it runs very well.
I think if these fail or get crappy results later I may buy OEM, but for now all good. I like the idea of cleaning a salvaged set next time I go, I may just grab a set.

I did measure the duty cycle, but I could use a referance to read up on why this was a factor in how this thing runs - just not sure.
Idle was 33%
Crusiung at 55mph was 75%
Busting a nut WOT was still 100%
Seems like the MPH is better. I will calculate it over the next few tanks of e10.

Again - THANKS! I am glad you all are here and are not flamers. I will keep following the forum and check in if anything fun happens...
Nick
