1999 2.5L engine install

Hi all! My name is Clint. I really enjoy the site, lots of great info here! I recently bought my son a 1999 ranger with a 2.5L that needed overhaul. I am near finishing the motor and getting close to install back into the truck. Has anyone been able to mate the trans to the motor and install as one assembly? Seemed tight coming out...

Depends on your setup really, the 4cyl is a bit longer than V6(only 3cyl long)

To do engine and trans together you should have 3 guys, one operating lift, one above to guide and one below to guide
It has to drop in at a pretty steep angle, so you need clearance under the vehicle as well
Nothing bolted to the front of engine and radiator is removed
