1998 Xlt 4.0 Idle Problem... PLEASE HELP!

Im having a problem. My truck is idling inconsistantly from around 600- 1100 about every 8-10 seconds. the engine isnt dying or studdering, its just idling funny.
its to the point where if im stopped with my foot on the brake and it idles up i have to press the brake more so the truck doesnt move.

Im thinking IAC Valve/Motor or maybe a vac line (not sure which one)

Your on the right track. clean your IAC then see how it is.
