1996 Sapphire Blue XLT build

Well bad news, I hit a deer/it ran into me Friday evening. Luckily the damage isnt bad. Passenger fender, door, headlight, upper bumper trim. So now im on the lookout for some JA/sapphire blue panels so it doesnt look out of place with 2 body panels freshly painted. The chances of me finding the JA/YN two-tone are slim to none, so ill have the body shop paint the lower silver instead.

I have pictures of the damage, but for some reason i cant post iphone (HEIC) pictures anymore. i didnt have that issue before. Ill figure it out and get the posted soon.

That being said, if anyone else has any leads on parts and wouldnt mind helping me figure out logistics of getting them to me that would be great.

Pictures uploaded. Scratches were from pervious owner, dents were not. I think i can pop the dents out on the fender but i definitely need to replace the door.

Searched around looking for a purple door/fender with no luck. So i ended up finding a clean rust free door and and fender that needed some body work.

initial test fitting of panels:

Pulled the fender back off to sand out any previous issues before priming it. 500 grit. Also did the door, but didnt get pictures of that.

Made sure the door fit correctly one last time, then sprayed primer. Fender in the background. Now just waiting to get it painted.

Door and fender painted:
Fender installed and realigned. Very happy how everything came out. Still need to install window seals, mirror and door panel. The door is from a 94 so need to modify a couple things to fit the newer style door panels. Also have to reinstall the headlight.

Once all of that is finished I'm going to buff the whole truck to get some shine back in the old paint.

Looks like a great job. That color match has a much deeper look than the stock paint which I'm liking a lot.

I'm very interested in whats been going on the background pics of the shop too.

Looks great, nice match. Is the extended cab lower panel dented?
