I could see that maybe in the rear with no weight. I’m not so sure up front as they are nearly same length and a bit lighter rating. But a bit more arch

Well after days of being given leafspring packs and none working out due to rot, bent springs or guide pins being too small here we are. I decided I’d be better of building a Hybrid pack using a combination of YJ,MJ and ranger leafs. It’s by far softer! And 2” lower, the springs themselves are now longer instead of being compressed into a shorter 41” eye to eye they are now 47” eye to eye. Gonna redo the front hangers and swap in 4” shackles. I’d also like to adjust the rears hangers a bit better….

As for the rear I’m waiting on a usps to get the Chevy 63s and new hangers in aswell.

the current height after bouncing it and moving it about honestly isn’t bad but do hope to get it another inch or 2 lower from where it’s at here. But it’s much better than it was and the fact I can bounce it without causing a hernia is a win in itself

Well with the wet season on us it’s made it pretty much impossible to weld or cut steel right now so I’m just focusing on clearing out parts inventory and seeing how everything will fit up and what changes I still may need to make but so far so good! At most just need to make a new alternator slide bracket. Next I need to finish welding and clean up the exhaust manifold.

I’m probably one of a handful of people who would bodywork a valve cover in this poor of shape but I’m a suckered for a stamped ford 300 valve cover and nobody makes them anymore also lucked out my parts guy managed to find me a NOS ford 3 groove HD balancer for 78$ when everywhere else I looked it was 🫪 or out of stock or only 2 groove.
