there is a guy in my local autocross group who has been running a fox body mustang for almost 20 years. it does well.

i had an 89 2.3 hatch back mustang back in college. what a great little car that was

did you spin out on the third lap? time increased a bunch and a dnf

Dnf was my tailpipe hanger not caring if it was red thread locker and falling off, I had to use a coat hanger and zip ties in the pits:LOL:.

Had a chance to continue work on the AX Stang, mounting a Volvo intercooler and radiator.

Uses the factory Volvo fan as well as the factory mustang hoses. Two 1 1/2" strips of aluminum using two factory holes at top of radiator support and 4 self tappers on bottom of rad support four nuts and bolts and four random bushings 1" at top and 1/2" at bottom to make the radiator plumb(level but in the vertical sense). Don't know if I'm going to relocate battery or just get a Honda size battery and make a new batt tray... Then it's time for whiney boy!

What Volvo and year?

That 2.3 must have a lot of intake suction to collapse the air cleaner like that...o_O

Busy busy this time of year but thing have slowed down I've gotten busy. Volvo ic and rad installed and functioning. Supercharger installed and running 5 psi at 4800 rpm. Need to adjust timing and install vortech fmu even though the fuel is good into boost... Still quite a few odds and ends need to be done and lots of paint and polish but the lil boost makes me happy!!

So I just couldn't deal with that amount of boost and I made a new crank pulley by cutting and welding svo/tc crank pulley to a ranger crank pulley, it's a little more obnoxious!!! Now just pondering between attempting installing a 88 la3 ecu and vam with 35lb injectors or using my microsquirt and a custom harness!!

Microsquirt!!!

I has ms2 when it first came out to run a supercharger on my bmw but i am not xomputer smart enough to get it to work. It was awesome building it though

It's really not hard once you wire it up. Invest in the licensed tuner studio for the auto tune, and the rest is just data entry!!

i am not a computer guy so its tough for me. my brother used to build and tune them for people. i don't know anything about computers and stuff like that and no one local to me was on any of the ms forums, nor when i asked around at the car clubs, no one had used ms so i was on my own
