The 2.9 is pretty much what it is with the stock processor.

And they really do thier job well.

If you upgrade to mega squirt and some gm sensors, then hci and porting ...deck the heads and block...maybe some pistons might be worth the effort.

Anything with a tunnel ram on it from the factory has to be good.

192.

Get a hi flow if you want. I like mine, but I also have a tiny assed rad and tons of fans for moar coolings. Setup works well.

Stock 8DT brain box doesn't like the 180 thermostat. Dumps fuel to it constantly.

No, it doesn't make it more gofasts.

You could go fancy assed like I did and do the dual snorkel Euro plenum.

But listen to Bobby. They're impressive with a megasquirt. Respond well to methanol as well.

Motorcraft filter. Best ones.

Gauge is up to you.

I vote no on a capillary tube one. Great way to get an unexpected "total loss" oiling system.

Summit makes a decent electronic one.

Psi gauge won't leak much...just tee it into the stock location
