I picked up this 1988 B2, it’s been sitting for a long time. Last guy bought it non running and was told fuel pump issues. For $100 bucks with a title. I figured why not. Got it home, threw a battery in it and found some interesting stuff done, but nothing crazy. I couldn’t hear the fuel pumps, checked relays there clicking so figured yup probably fuel pumps. So I checked spark and had none. So wanting to hear it do something. I put on a good spare TFI module on and got spark back, it will run on starting fluid. So I went to the fuel pumps. Pulled the tank down, full of rust and misery. I had a spare new tank and ordered a new low pressure pump and sending unit. Reinstalled that, no high fuel pressure still. Pulled high pressure pump down, went through my parts rigs after 3 found one good one, fuel pressure holds and is 46 psi. Cool, still no start….start testing powers and grounds, ecm has its grounds and powers. Swapped PCMs with one from my old 89. No luck, though spark was looking a little funky, so maybe pip was bad? Pulled the distributor and swapped with a good one. Still same issue, injectors aren’t injecting. So I checked for powers and grounds at the TFI both there and good. Figured maybe the Pip signal wire to the PCM is bad? Ohm’d out signal wire 1 ohm, well that’s ok, check spout wire also, 1.2 ohms…. We shit. Idk from what I can tell, I have all the powers and grounds at the PCM plug I need. Idk I’m missing something. I just wouldn’t think the injectors would be so plugged up they wouldn’t do anything. And that all 6 are bad…. I guess I can see about a noid tester and see if I am really getting signal to the injector.

I’m just out of ideas, I’m about to give up a just put this body of my SAS’d frame with the 5.0 in it. I’m just really not about v6 auto life after having my others being at least 4.0/5.0 swapped. 😎🙃
