No headers yet. Supposed to be here Monday. They are not the P heads. Will test fit the 89500's just to see if they work on a torsion front with non P heads.

89500 will NOT work on the passenger side due to the factory mounts.

Torque monsters are installed. Just need to do a few more little things and it'll be ready to fire up.

Should have the drive shaft tomorrow. Then to the exhaust shop Friday morning. Still haven't fired it up. I ordered the wrong plug wires so I can't start it yet. I ordered a set of Aurora wires for the 5.0. http://www.auroraignitionwires.com/index1.html Part number 95323. Should have them in a few days. In the mean time, I will put a used set from my Mountaineer on the motor so I can run it. Just too exhausted tonight. It WILL run tomorrow night!

It's ALIVE!!! Have to wait till tomorrow morning to drive it. Have to pick up the driveshaft the morning. Then it's off to the exhaust shop. Had to re-pin the connector to the transmission. 96 and 98 4R70W's are pinned different. The only codes I have now are for the evap vent solenoid circuit.

Does anybody know if a 00 or 01 Exploder power steering pressure hose is threaded into the rack? Justin's 05 Ranger power steering line just slips into the rack and held by a small plate. I may have to have a custom hose made.

Glad it's getting close! If you have to have a custom hose made, I've always been really happy with Earl's on gasoline alley. They may even do it while you wait.

I think I may have solved my issue. I did some research and I may wind up using a Explorer 4.6 power steering hose. It's a 2 piece unit and it should flex enough to get it where I want it.
