Hey guys! I have an issue with the AT shift cable on my Ranger consisting of it being shortened by the truck having a 3” body lift. The plastic tabs holding it in the bracket on the side of the trans have worn down and won’t hold anymore. Temporarily I have a couple hose clamps holding it in place. The question I have is are there any other models that have a longer cable with the same ends? Thanks in advance!!!!

Hey CCB,

Custom cables can be made with a brass rod of the correct diameter. Drill & solder to attach the cable. The shroud can be trimmed with a dremil. Also at marine shops.... they will have a collection of end pieces because they make custom cables on the spot. Good luck! The good thing about this place is that it's ok to add a picture or two. Hope all turns out well.-
