04' Ranger 4.0 AWD Auto Spongy Brake Pedal on LEFT Turns Only

Dealer said ABS parts are "on their way out"... no ABS light (yet) to the tune of $ 1,400.00. Never seen this before where the condition is on LEFT turn only.

Areas to check ? Straight braking and right turns are fine ......

Just a shot in the dark; try checking the ABS speed sensor on the DS hub bearing see if its loose or the o-ring is shot where it seats in the assembly. Not the same situation with braking as yours but the o-ring was thin on one side of the speed sensor on my old 96 Ex; made the ABS go nuts and I almost took out a mailbox...
