It's Wednesday. The weekend will be here soon.

I want to challenge all of you to have an epic weekend with your Ford Ranger, Bronco II or Explorer. Take photos and post them and an explanation of what you did in this thread on Monday.

How will you enjoy your weekend?

Who will have the most interesting photos?

:worthless:

Well the topper is coming off tonight...

They’re calling for rain all weekend here so who knows what adventures may happen.

Rain makes mud...

Go have some fun and maybe you can even break the chop top again!

I don’t think you understand my dislike for mud. I don’t mind some when trail riding but after burying my Choptop in swamp mud up to the bottom of the doors years ago and for years after having dried swamp mud rain on me when I was working on it, I’ll pass. If I’m gonna play in mud, I’ll build a truck specifically for playing in mud.

Oh, and if I break the Choptop this weekend, you’re paying for it since you decided to speak it. You’ve also voted yourself to come do the repair work since I don’t have the time. I don’t have anything else to drive. Technically the F-150 is operational, but it’s not healthy enough to daily. It’s also not worth dumping anything but the bare minimum into.

I'll document a bit of my deconstruction of my first ranger I owned. A 1986 sclb 2.9 also that originally had dual tanks. After the first inspection I filled both tanks and the rear tank was leaking. Upon further inspection by myself there was no fuel pump in that tank. Ended up replacing the tank with a spare tire bracket.
That bracket is spoken for, as well as the engine and trans.

Any other parts are for sale cheap; for my time removing and cost of mailing. I'm near Calgary, Alberta. Most likely getting crushed Monday.

Or maybe you’re just a persistent pain in everyone’s arse :buttkick: :stirthepot:

The weekend is here!!

Maybe I should have titled this: 'How I Spent The Weekend With My Ranger / Bronco II'

Well... i temporarily relieved the Ranger of its duty to hold the driveway from floating up to the sky this afternoon. I took it to pick up David who grumbled about no AC.. then took it and David to Meijer to pick up my weeks grocery order.

dunno about epic, but it did get some use. may drive it around a bit this weekend as well

With no drivetrain, no steering, no brakes, no instrument cluster;

This will be a major challenge.

Could we tell David "The people who started this country 250 years ago didn't have air conditioning in their Rangers, either. Get over it. Time to be a man."?
