- My credo
- My world is filled with stuff that needs to be fixed
On my new-to-me 2004 Ranger I'm tracking down a water leak, which is either the CHMSL or the rear window, and see that some hack has already tried to get in there. On the rear corner trim pieces (where the seat belt mound is) one of the large diameter barbed plastic "nails" is broken, and one of the white nylon tube assemblies those go into is also damaged.
It appears I cannot get those barbed fasteners out anyway without cutting off the heads.
Does anyone have a source for these or know the Ford part number? I want to get in there and fix it properly but I'd like to get it back together correctly too. I can get that white nylon part at the junkyard I'm sure.
