So, out with the old, in with the new!~

Old was 3 1/2' of chevette (yes, chevette @ 1 7/8" dia.) factory exhaust and a 24" cherry bomb that was worn out....

New is 2.5" In/Out FLOPRO muffler.

Gone is the hwy drone, and most of the crackling when high rpm downshifting. It also doesn't rub my 1 piece driveshaft when flexing!

Right on, that looks better.

I've got some material for new exhaust for mine as well. Got it from work off a brand new 08 4.0L mustang. Its all mandrel bent 2.5" semi stainless . I like the sound of the muffler and everything on the v6 mustangs, hoping it sounds similar on my ranger.

Still running cats, The length of the new exhaust gets it dumped just behind the fuel tank and over the axle rather then infront of it. Front mounting is the same flange as stock.

Tell ya what, lol....If a rock somehow manages to take out my exhaust, I'll be worried about a lot of other things first. Here's the under shot i was gonna get before, but my camera died. No part of it hangs below the frame, and it's away from my driveshaft too...yay!
