Are wheel spacers a good idea vs. offset rims? I have a 96 ranger with the 4.0L. I don't wanna run 12.5" wide tires but I want a nice offset look. any thoughts?:icon_surprised:

If you do a search on here you will see a lot of post on wheel spacers. I never have used them and neither have any of my buddies. We always pick the right rim backspacing. I know that not everybody can just go out and get different rims of course. If you really need them try not to go over 1 1/2 inches since they do wear out bearings and cause other issues if you really get crazy and put on 3-5 inch spacers like I have seen at a few truck shows. I remember watching a few of my favorite 4x4 shows some time back and they talked about not using them at all. I think if you used a smaller width spacer this will be fine.
