Which do like better?
I really like the present day look, but my favorite would be the 89-92 look. I really do like the twin I beam suspension.

I'm gonna say Gen 1, classic... someday... It just looks like a truck like a mini F150 the newer ones just don't... do it for me...?

IHave a gen 2 BII and a gen3 ranger. The gen 2 just looks more truckish.

Guess I would vote for Gen 3 because the favorite of the 4 I have owned (93, 95, 04, 03) would be the 1995.
Can't vote for Gen 6 because the only things I liked about the truck were the front grille and the 4.0 engine. Ford did a real quality job cheaping/decontenting the Gen 6 trucks IMO. That truck had the most uncomfortable seats and the harshest, punishing, and abusive ride of any vehicle I have ever owned. Bought new and sold at 16K.
The Gen 5 I have now is a much more enjoyable truck than the 2004. I miss my 1995.

Gen 3. My '94 is a stout little truck. The ergnomics are good, and the shifter falls right where you want it too. Plus, the 2.3 is a torquey little bugger!

Nothing sexier that a fourth gen with a fullwidth solid axle underneath it... maybe I'm a lil biased though :D

1st gen comes in a very close second though...

4gen for sure!!! i really like how theyre unique among rangers, that big grille and the amber turn lights under the headlights give a though look, kind of like a full size truck.
Nothing compares to watching those big amber turnlights at night :D, besides they got the 3" extension on reg cabs that model
