I work as a forklift Operator in reciving at MEI (Midwest Express Inc.) which is the wharehouse and consolidation company for HONDA of America and is owned and operated by aswell, about 90% of the parts that Honda oders from it's many suppliers comes here first we house them and consolidate them then ship them out to there order, the East liberty plant (Crosstour, CRV, and Element) and the Marysville Plant (Accord, Acura TL, TSX, and MDX) are the main plants we ship to and work for. But thats what I do its sucks but its a pay check so i'm not complaning.
Update:
I'll half to update this too, as some of you know from the premium member forums I lost my job back in july but I got hired into AGC in late august:
We make the whole rear sliding window from raw glass to a complete ready to install part.
We also do this window but the glass comes from kentucky tempered and printed. we prime the glass and cook it put it in a press install the black rubber and clips then it's ready to be installed.
Heres one of the many new racks we are getting in from Ford we just picked up all the windows for the 2011-2012 Focus. (notice prototype on the side of the rack)
As of feb. 25th we now make all the windows for this:
The windshields and rear quarter windows are made in my department due to the encapsulation around them. The sides lights and rear lights are made and finished in tempering. We do all four models four door black and brites and five door black and brites.
