Pecking away at uber-detailing with the Ford Nationals in Carlisle coming up in two weeks.
Repainted the exhaust tip and tailpipe with hi-temp black paint.
Repainted the tow hooks blue. Ford Performance power coated - $125. Or one can of Krylon - $5.
Rub out wheels with tar remover, then again with wheel cleaner. Will wax them later.
Walmart had Cristal Tire Shine back in stock. Dirt cheap and lasts a long time. My uncle turned me on to it. Normally not a fan of ultra shiny tires but I'll do it for a show.

Not today, but over the weekend I changed the oil, washed it, waxed it, and cleaned up the inside real nice like I was getting ready for a first date with a hot chick. Then yesterday I went outside, (beer in hand), looked at it, and tried to visualize the new wheels and tires that are coming that I absolutely didn't need. Then I also thought about the tune that I'll probably get that I don't need either. These forums can be expensive.

Got the level kit installed. 1.5” from Truxxx. After two failed attempts myself, the second with some help from @sgtsandman, I took it to a shop near my office. Guy knocked it out in 2.5 hours including an alignment. Ready for Carlisle.
Shop apparently overextended the left axle and the boot came loose. Could hear a noise on my way home from work today, would speed up as I sped up and slow down as I slowed down. I stopped and looked but didn't see anything. After dinner I drive across town to the post office and it's really loud, stop again and look and I can see the boot is loose from the diff side. Doesn't appear to be torn. Waiting on AAA to tow it to back to the shop.

Are they gonna replace the whole axle?

Dunno. Find out tomorrow. It's 9:00 at night now. I am hopeful that they can just fill it with grease and reattach the boot. It's not like replacement parts are easy to get and I've got to go halfway across the state next week to the Ford Nationals. As it is, I have to take my wife to work tomorrow because I have a doctor appointment in the morning and need her car.

Hopefully not too big a deal. I've seen were some have actually popped the axle apart over extending it. I'm not sure if it can be popped right back together or not but does seem to be pretty common. I actually lossened my wheel nut so I had some more play on the axle when I did mine because I was concerned and plus I was at my shop at work by myself that day haha.

Inner CV blowed up. Need new axle.
Plot thickens. I notice a splash of grease and CV bearings in the gutter at my house where I backed it over the curb into the yard the other day in 4wd so as not to tear up the grass. Still gotta think something wasn’t right because backing over a curb at barely above idle shouldn’t blow up a CV.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.

Yeah... they definitely overextended it.

Added some ditch lights and a got 1 of those switch plates the guy is 3D printing off Facebook. It fit really nice except for where I added my trailer brake knob in the cigarette lighter jack. The trim ring on the knob sticks out wider than the original jack so now it cocked a little toward the driver. But no drilling or screwing into dash. Just snaps into place. I'll grab some pictures later

Got my ditch lights installed finally. Turned out nice I think. Now to get the LED bulbs replaced in the front and I'll be lighting up everything nice
