I'm going to call you out on this and say :bsflag: There's no coals in the grille. :unsure:I'm beginning to think you bought this at the local BBQ shop and tried to pull it off as yours. ;missingteeth;

Either way, it looks friggin' delicious:beer: and I'm really jealous cause I love ribs 😢 and I don't have them on my plate.
Coals were in the firebox. It is a smoker.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

My credo
Lead, Follow or get out of my way
Funny story... not sure why getting to the Badlands in Attica always gives me problems... but this year was no different.

I was loaded and rolling down the road an hour from home and realized I had forgot the thin crust discs in the refrigerator. So... I had to turn around to go get them which added 2 hours to my trip there.

None of this was possible without my support crew... Eric for his efforts to bake these on a camp fire... and Poppa (85's FIL) for tending the serving table and getting them ready to serve. You guys are the best and thanks so much for your help once again.

Picked up a box of sweet peppers for real cheap. So I made some chili. Onions, carrots, lots of peppers, garlic, some peri-peri spice, some store bought tex-mex spice mix, couple cans of diced tomatoes, couple cans of beans, and a lb. of minced turkey. It turned out decent.

Dessert. Peach and pear crisp. No sugar added to the fruit, just a sprinkling of cinnamon and vanilla and corn starch for thickening. The topping was about a cup oatmeal roughly chopped, a half cup walnuts roughly chopped, a cup of homemade bisquick, half cup brown sugar, half cup margarine, cinnamon, and some salt.

Got my yogurt maker going. I have the temperature control set at 101 and it shuts off at 102, turns on at 100. Seemed to do well. Made 1/2 gallon. Will try this with an 8 quart slow cooker for a full gallon. Oh, life is exciting!!
