what you got and why you made it, this is a cut down 1and1/8th combination cut, bent and ground, as well as open ended, its sole purpose is the take the egrm tube off of 1993 Grand Marquis egr valve every 20k to clean the pipe to exhaust manifold,:icon_welder:

No pictures, (somebody remind me to take one sometime) but my dad and I took a chainsaw bar and ground out a section to make a wrench for the fan on the Ranger.

I notched, and welded, the base of a 1/2 drive socket to the end of an 18" ,1/2" drive, breaker bar.
Why,you may ask? It is then attached to my 1/2" drive Torque wrench for use on BIG stuff like axle nuts on VW Swingaxles, which are supposed to be torqued to something like 300 ft/lbs. This doubles the length of my torque wrench. Simply multiply the readings by 2,on the torque wrench, and you're there!

No pics, but I use a small childs medicine syringe, a red straw and can of carb cleaner and an old fuel injector plug end with a momentary switch. the O-rings on the injector fit snug into the sringe as does the straw. fill it with carb cleaner it stays pressurized, connect the plug to injector and momentary switch to battery, and click away. you can literally watch the spray pattern change...then turn the injector around and do it again to clean the screen. Just as good as any professional cleaning. (I think I got the idea here about 8 yrs ago).

Also, its not really a mod, but I have a 3d printer, and 3d HD scanner, but its an awesome tool. I can print a variety of special sized wrenches or tools, or plastic parts, depending on what I print with, some pieces are reallllly strong.

Mine's not really a mod either, but my favorite 'improvised' tool is my hockey puck. Works great for driving all sorts of seals without damaging them, plus I drilled a hole in it to install a vacuum fitting for vacuum bleeding power steering etc. Works great for bleeding hydraulic clutch systems from the top.
Got an old Honda Civic half shaft for a prybar too. Heated one end red hot and flattened and bent it. No flex at all. It gets borrowed by other techs a lot!
