so mods to date are:
-dana 35, explorer springs all the way around with coil spacer, body lift, 33's, welded spider gears in the rear, smittybuilt bumper, KC slimlights,

thanx rsh, i use the ranger to pull my grandparents 25' 5th wheel but this a different truck bed and a newer hitch so i had to drill new holes, the bolts are the biggest grade 8 i could fit through

Nice truck, but I wouldnt pull no 25' with it. I had a 1986 29' coachmen and it was bumper load, but that thing was insanely heavy. I know my ranger could have moved it, but I didnt even think about trying. And Im normally all about doing stupid stuff.

Love that line, Also that grill looks sick! The front end makes it look more like an older F-150!

Keep up the good work and clean up the tailgate!

I dont know man, I wouldnt dare pull a 25' trailer with that ranger....with 33's....and 3.73's...with a 2.9. Have you even tried it yet? even if you can get it going (ie rape your clutch) youre going to have one HELL of a time stopping. Dont mean to bust your bubble, just trying to be realistic.

i dont do it with the 33' i use 31 or lt235/75/15's, ive done it with the 31's do it fine but im gunna get some 235's for towing, the only part that sucks about BC is the hills slow going up and slow going down lol just to be safe. brake controler is your friend..... next step it going to be cleaning up the tailgate for sure.

I have a hell of a time towing more than a 2500lbs with 3.73 and 33's. And thats a low profile trailer!. Brakes are not able to stop something like that! But the grill looks nice!

it usually makes the trip once a summer up to the camp grounds and back with the 5th wheel, normailly a 30 minute drive but with the 5th wheel its closer to a hour doing 20kmh going up a long curvy paved road up the mountain and the way home is about the same just so i can come down the mountain really slow and controlled

I wouldnt bother cleaning up the tailgate, One good short with the brake controller and itll be a wasted effort. LOL
