Randomly when I have my turn signal on, both the indicator on the dash and the ticking sound will cut out. When this happens, the rear turn signal is operating but the front one isn't. Any ideas of what could be causing this? The front headlight/turn signal assemblies are some aftermarket OEM style that were on the truck when I bought it. Could replacing the headlights possibly solve this issue? I wouldn't mind replacing them anyway because they are a little foggy, my high beams are crap, and I would like LEDs. Thanks

loose wire, bad ground, bad signal switch or maybe a bulb ready to die. I dont think the headlight is part of the issue.
