troubles with nvidia install

after i try to download nvidia this is what comes up when the installation is almost complete:

im working with windows xp on a HP pavillion laptop, im pretty sure i had nvidia before but after it got reformated i think it went out the window.

and yes Ranger Sport Honduras thats you in the msn conversation lol

so what do you guys suggest i do or what am i doing wrong?

u need a driver compatible with your video hardware, in other words, compatible with your videocard

follow the instructions i gave u, and update your driver. make sure the driver works with the game u want to install.
some games wont work on some hardware/drivers

You sure you have Nvidia graphics? That error is saying that you don't. You'd have to check for sure, if you don't know how I can tell you, but I gotta go to sleep cause its almost 2am and I need to go to school tomorrow.

laptop eh, it may require a different set of drivers for onboard video. whats the model of the laptop you have?

More than likely it is an Intel graphics card.. Go to hp.com and select download drivers then enter the model of the laptop you have... follow the prompts till you find the Intel graphics driver... Could even be an ATI.... But I doubt it.
