Hi there, I recently got a 1992 Ford Ranger 4x4, with 4.0L running gear and tranny out of an explorer. It has a 2.9V6. When i got it, i put it into drive and it would rev up like it was neteral, then it would start to slowly take off... and it revs very high while going very slow... Now.. the 2nd day i had it, i put it into R,D,2,or 1 it will not move.. it sometimes moves about half a inch then acts like it fell out of gear back into neteral, then it will starts to move again another half a inch... Now, about a hour ago It dumped all its tranny fluid from around the tourque converter area.. the bellhousing? i think its called, cant think atm... So it dumped all its fluid out of there and now will not move Do i have to rebuild it? is it a simple fix? I dont know... I replaced the fluids, there all ok well... until the tranny puked them onto the ground... Help me please! I want to fix this for as cheap as possible since i do not have any money..
