They are calling for heat indexes of over 100* here the rest of the week last I heard. Not really supposed to top 90*, but the humidity is supposed to be really high, so it’s gonna be like a sauna outside. Lovely.

Supposedly going to see triple digits the next two days. Humidity too. Yay summer...

When the day starts out at 78 and light rain at 4 am you know it's gonna be hot and sticky here in Middle TN. Heat index supposed to be in triple didgets.

Power went out yesterday at 3:17, still out now. At least we still have water and stove top burners.

We lost power again yesterday, but by the time we got home from running around it was back on.

Outside painting a piece of equipment on the black top today. Very hot. not quite 90* but humid.

Only got up to 97 today. Heat index was 105... One minor power glitch at work. Only a minute or so before the generator kicked in. If I lose power at home I've got nothing. Water and whole house is electric.

102.9 pumpkins! That must be hot. How do pumpkins relate to deg F or Celsius?

by the time power came back on tonight it had been out for 29 hours.
had a great nap this afternoon.

there are still many utility trucks around the area, several roads still blocked by fallen wires & trees.
