My credo
Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
Using a normal ruler everywhere in town got about 4-5".

Out here in the wilds it varies from nothing to a foot.
Nope. Nope. Dangerous, seditious lies and disinformation!

No snow, but I did get a nice frozen pipe though.

Peaked around 10*. Supposed to get a bit of snow tonight, see what happens.

Neighbor on one side - old retired Russian couple. Neighbor on other side - teenage son who "says" he's interested in engineering but spends all his time playing video games. Never see him outside. Told his mom several times that he is welcome to come over and watch/help me wrenching on stuff and that I would be happy to mentor him and help him learn mechanical, electrical, electronics, etc. Never see him.
Bummer.

I grew up when video games were starting to get really good... but I was still outside falling off my bike as much as I was inside blasting nazis in the face on call of duty.

Kids these days... really.

The perfect is the enemy of the good.
Getting hammered here, hopefully will stay snow not freezing rain. About 6" so far. myradar app works nice to see snow/sleet line. Basically blizzard at this point, windy and lot of light fluffy snow. Don't think I'm going anywhere w/out 4 wheel drive. Would have liked that, but, this is rare for us.

the grey-t escape
nothing here yet, supposed to start sometime in the next hour & continue through 5am tomorrow. Was sunny earlier & had all the shades up on the side of the house that gets sun, warmed it up nicely in here, enough that I fell asleep- until it got overcast & cooled off. Moved the car from the front of the garage in case I do get anything big that the ranger becomes needed to get to work, the backroad I live on could get bad quickly. If it came to it I could just take her to work with the escape , go to my job then pick her up after work but id rather not as dirty as I get at work. For now though its calm out, barely a breeze. doesnt even look like mid-january out here.

I've been watching webcams of the Soo locks as they shut down for the season.
it seems that all this climate warming has caused much more ice than usual. :icon_rofl:

As much fun as they are, they’re not worth buying unless you get good amounts of snow. I’ve been thinking about putting tracks on my SxS.
