How do you like it?

I have been pondering shutting up the toy gun commenters and supplimenting my 20ga 500 Bantam with a 12ga like you pictured but with wood and a red dot scope for hunting deer. I am pretty good at busting rock with the 20 and I probably won't get enough out of it to buy a barrel.

That and it was my first gun and they don't make them like it anymore that I have seen. Really pretty wood, engraved receiver, gold trigger... had it since '96 when I was 12 and despite being drug through the woods in search of deer every winter it still looks new. :icon_bounceblue:
I have only carried it through the woods once and have no complaints.

how do you like that sigma? the sigma's are one pistol i've not shot in my quest to find the perfect carry pistol for me.. so far its looking like a springfield .xd subcompact .40 or compact .45
I like it a lot. I put 65-70 rounds through it in 1 session with no problems. I am about to get my CCP and looking for that knock down punch. I know a well placed round will take anything down. I just do not want it to get back up right away.

Just found a Bersa Thunder 40 ultra compact for sale. I am going to see if it is available and see they have any problems with it.

Check out www.armslist.com

It is the craigslist for guns.

I've had a Sigma 40 and now own the XD 40 and the XD is a much better pistol.

The Sigma's trigger, at least the one I owned, was horrible. I think the trigger pull is between 10 - 15 lbs. From what I understand, you can't lighten it up much either.

Otherwise, it was a nice pistol.

Did, but i got an amazing deal on the marlin, so i couldn't pass it up.
New or used?

If it is a good one, IMO they are a supperior design than the Winchester. Since Remington bought them out a couple years ago they have all sorts of problems putting sights on crooked, barrels drooping, buggering screw heads, won't feed, rough action... all sorts of stuff that should be in basic gun building 101.

Norinco NP29, A 1911 in 9mm
I'm not to sure on 1911 terms, but I believe people were saying it's a Series 70.

I'm on there too, same username. :icon_thumby:
Canada just got a shipment of them, for the first time in a couple years.
Should be a few new canadians joining the 1911 forum now.

Just googled the RIA Tactical, looks nice. Will have to consider it in the future for a .45, the remington r1 is currently the only 1911 I got to handle.
The norc should be here Wednesday.

Waiting is the hardest part huh? Series 70 is the term for pre fire pin block, the way the 1911 was originally designed his greatness John M. Browning. I have a 70 series RIA and a Series 80 Colt. Both have the sweetest triggers, but the Colt is a pain sometimes to put back together after cleaning.
